Sarena Rosenfeld’s parents were both Artists. Her father was an architect who also painted in water colors. Her mother, Rosalie, was a painter, as well as a clothing designer and book illustrator.

Her paintings are hard to classify, as they contain both fauvism and expressionist elements in a figurative setting. Her work is painterly and she formulates her own varnishes.

Sarena’s works are exhibited internationally, including Europe and Africa. Cities within the United States in which she regularly exhibits include: New York, Scottsdale, Hawaii, New Orleans, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
