Stone forms the bones of this earth. “Within its silence, stone contains the story of our existence, seemingly random, yet perfectly created. These sculptures are my reflection upon this world and this life, in transit.

In 1996, my attachment to figure sculpture was re-ignited on a visit to Italy and Greece. In the Museum of Athens, images of fragmented sculptures abound. From this experience, emerged a desire to engage in a dialogue with the past.”
